Entry #2      Sept 25-26/23

Today Gibson and I stayed at Heiser Idaho. We made one bike jump and jumped on it all day. We made it bigger every once in a while. I got so much air! Gibson cased it a couple of times (Casing meens to hit the back end of the landing ramp). We were hitting the jump the whole entire day. I want to make some bigger jumps when we get home. If we make jumps like that when we get home I will be outside all weekend. After we finished biking and lost day light we  went in for dinner and went to bed.

The next night we stayed at a goat farm and got to see how they milk the goats. The goats are so fat. Apparently goats are very picky eaters. They only eat what they want to eat. I had a fun time in the last two days and I hope that I get to see that stuff again.

Last week I went to Long Beach. We explored the town all day. We visited the kite museum. At the kite museum we saw lots of cool stuff. They used to use kites in the Navy. They used kites to train Navy officers to recognize enemy planes and shoot them down with ship guns. I never knew that they used kites in the Navy. Some kites were used for rescue and some kites were used to crash planes. They used kites for so much stuff, way more than I ever thought. We bought a kite while we were at the museum and they even gave Gibson and I each a kite for free!

We took our kites and walked over to the Long Beach and set up our family kite. It’s a very easy kite to set up. It pulls up on you pretty hard. It is so fun to play with! It is so windy on the ocean! I wish that it was windy on lakes too. Some of the kites were bigger than the cars and trucks there! It was the craziest thing I have ever seen! I wish that we lived on the ocean. Our kite is so colourful and bright like a rainbow. I love our kite and kites are the best. I hope to fly a kite again!
