My Visit to the Utah Parks - Gibson
In Zion we went to The Narrows hike. The Narrows is where you walk in water that is freezing cold and the water can get really high. Some people take the deepest spot and get the freezing cold water in their bibs. If you walk to the left wall it is not so deep. The water got up to my neck but it did not get in. I had a full body suit but the water came pretty high on my brother and I. The adults had bibs not full body suits. The hike was cool to experience. Your feet got really cold.
Once inside Zion park you get free bus rides to any of their trails. The trails we took were Weeping Rock, and Emerald Pools. Weeping Rock is a rock that water drips off of. The Emerald Pools are 3 pools, called: Upper Pool, Lower Pool, and Middle Pool. The one I liked the most was Upper Pool because it was the biggest.
After Zion park we went to Bryce Canyon. In Bryce Canyon we had to bike to get to our hike. The hike was 3 different trails, and a little too long for me. The trails are called Navajo, Peek a boo, Queen’s Garden and last but not least we ended at Sunset Point. At the start of Navajo trail we saw a hoodoo that looked like Thor’s Hammer. The hikes were definitely too long, for me at least. I am not sure about my brother at all. Bryce Canyon was a cool place though.
If you plan to go to a lot of US National Parks you should get a pass called America The Beautiful and then you have free access to any National park in the US for 1 year.
