California-Gibson's Edition

California

I want to talk about my California highlights.  My favorite highlight is Yosemite.  The first day we went on a hike called the Mist Trail.  We hiked around Grizzly Peak.  The trail was so fun  because there are so many rocks to climb on and run up, and jump off of.  We went on a hike the next day to Taft Point. It was an amazing hike. At the end of the hike it was a great view of El Capitan.  It was so cool because you were on a cliff.  You got to see climbers on El Capitan mountain.  There are many climbers that look so tiny on the mountain.

While on this trip, I read a book called Wolf Called Wander.  The author’s name is Rosanne Parry.  The book is a bit sad at the beginning, but it gets better as you read it. Wander is by himself for most of the book. The book is so good. I would recommend the Wolf Called Wander.  I loved it.

I am reading an amazing book called The Wild Robot. The author’s name is Peter Brown.  The book is about a wild robot who has a computer brain and learns from the animals in the wilderness.

If you are going on a road trip, or if you’re on a road trip, audiobooks make time fly.  We are listening to The Wingfeather saga, by Andrew Peterson.  The Wingfeather Saga is a good book to listen too.
